It's Time For River Sweep!
Please join the Boy Scouts of America Troop 605, Order of the Arrow Wazi Yata Chapter members and your fellow community members on Saturday, June 21st, in downtown Rising Sun from 8:30 AM to Noon for some sun, fun and fellowship while helping our environment! Participation includes lunch (in Rising Sun) and a T-shirt (while they last).
To sign up, e-mail me at abarce@aep.com or armandarce@hotmail.com. For other areas along the river (such as Aurora, Lawrenceburg, Madison, etc.) call 1-800-359-3977.
River Sweep is a riverbank cleanup of the Ohio River and its tributaries. River Sweep encompasses the entire length of the river, from its origin in at Pittsburgh to its end at Cairo, IL including 1,962 miles of shoreline and many tributaries.
Riversweep is a great tradition. It keeps the area healthy and clean, so get out there and do your part to help the environment!
