STRANGE ON DISPLAY BEGINS SUMMER SERENADES CONCERT SERIES

Rising Sun, Indiana, May 21, 2008 — Summer Serenades 2008 kicks off on Saturday night (May 31, 2008) at 6:30 p.m on the river stage at the foot of Main Street in Rising Sun with the sounds of the Aurora, Indiana based band; Strange on Display. The Band formed in April 2004 when Jimmy Wenstrup, Matt McIntosh, and Mike Dittmer all decided to start a band in the 8th grade at SDMS. They had all been in various bands throughout the years, but they all ended up in the same outfit called Strange On Display and later changed to Sleepyhead and then changed back to Strange On Display. After a few roster changes Strange on Display. was officially born. They quickly became popular playing around the Aurora/Lawrenceburg area with other local favorites Muzzy and Not For Blind Kids. They are currently working on their yet untitled second album. Look for it sometime in the next twenty years. Known for their musicianship and energetic live shows Strange on Display will entertain all five senses at once. If you don't believe this is possible go find out for yourselves..

Bring a lawn chair or soft blanket to enjoy the free concert with the beautiful Ohio River as the backdrop. More info at www.enjoyrisingsun.com.
